Week beginning: 8th December 

Next week we will be living and breathing the nativity story. We will be reading it as part of our literacy topic and thinking about what it would have felt like to have been Mary, Joseph, Shepherd etc. We will be recording our ideas on thinking bubbles. 

In phonics, we will be learning the sound 'n' like in 'night', 'next' and 'nip'. This half term we have learnt ' S, A, T, P, I, N' so far.

On Wednesday 10th December, it is our Nativity performance. Please join us at 9.15am in the hall. A reminder that photos and videos of the performance are prohibited as it is a safeguarding risk. There will be a chance to take photos with your child at the end of the performance.

Reminders:

- Letters went home on Monday about our Caritas reverse advent calendar. 

Talk homework:

Each week the children will be given a piece of talk homework. This will be a question which can be discussed as a family in the car, at bedtime or around the dinner table. It will be part of our learning later in the week, and it is nice for children to have an idea ready to tell their peers.
