Our Class News this week –Monday 15th  December - Friday 19th December 2025 

This week the children have had great fun celebrating advent and preparing for Christmas. They performed their dress rehearsal and 2 additional  performances.  I am sure you will agree they did a great job singing, dancing and acting. Well done Reception! 

Thank you also to all the parents for the gifts and kind words we have received. We have been very touched. We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and we can't with to hear all about it in January. 

Advent

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the Caritas Advent Calendar donations. The donations are really appreciated. 

Thank you to all the children who competed the Advent Actions over the last couple of weeks. . A huge thanks to those of you who emailed the office a picture of your child performing an act of kindness at home.  We will be continuing this until Christmas if you would like to email your picture in. 

Homework

We would love to hear how you celebrate Christmas. What are your cultural and family traditions? It would be great if you could bring in a photograph and talk to your child about this so they can share it with us at school in January.

Important Information

Please can you make sure your child has a book bag.  Book bags must be brought to school every day. 

Please can you make sure you work through your child's reading book with them daily and sign the yellow comment book. 

If you have any questions, then please do not hesitate to talk to the member of staff on the gate in the morning.
