Phonics play - Phase 3

Half termly Homework Autumn 1 

Each week your child will have homework set which will be expected to be completed by Thursday. There will be homework set in the CGP books for Grammar and Reading Comprehension. These are provided for you. There will also be Maths homework set too. 

The most important way to support your child at home is through reading and phonics. We expect each child to read for a minimum of 10 minutes a day. If you have time, try to read with your child and ask them questions about the story they are reading. This quality, dedicated time set aside to read has a huge impact on your children's learning across the curriculum and helps develop a love of reading which can last a lifetime. Please also access the phonics videos, which are uploaded weekly on Class Dojo, so you can help your child with their phonic knowledge as well.
