Nursery Admission Criteria

Our Nursery provision, or Foundation Stage One classes is able to accommodate children for 15 hours a week in a morning or afternoon place, or 30 hours provision for whole day places.  At any one time we will have a maximum of 20 children in the classroom, a mixture of half day and whole day placements.

Eligibility criteria
Parents who have children aged 3 and 4 years, earning between approximately £5,500 and £100,000 each per annum are able to access 30 hours free entitlement.  For full details on eligibility go to https://www.gov.uk/help-with-childcare-costs/free-childcare-and-education-for-2-to-4-year-olds
Parents need to complete an online questionnaire to confirm your eligibility. If you are eligible you will receive a code, which you will then have to provide to school. You can check your eligibility on the following website: https://childcare-support.tax.service.gov.uk. Eligibility must be reconfirmed by parents every three months

The following options are available for Foundation Stage One (Nursery)provision.


OPTION 1 - 15 hour provision
  • 15 hr provision – snack provision but no lunch
    • Morning 8.30 – 11.30 or Afternoon 12.00 – 3.00
 
Additional Option for children eligible for 15 hours
  • Part time 15 hour children can top up to 30 hour provision @ cost of £60 a week til 2.30pm each day or £70 a week til 3.00pm – this must be 5 days a week
 
 
OPTION 2 - 30 hour provision
 
  • 30 hrs from 8.30 – 2.30 daily
 
Additional Options for children eligible for 30 hours
  • Top up each day 2.30 -3.00 @ cost of £10 per week – this must be 5 days a week
 
  • Lunch at cost of £2.40 a day or provide own – this must be pre-booked when required
  • Lunch will consist of a ham or cheese sandwich, carrot and cucumber sticks, yoghurt of fromage frais, fruit, water
 
 
Breakfast Club and After School club wraparound options
Nursery parents may choose to pay for additional provision at the beginning and end of the school day.  These clubs are run in our school hall by school staff.
 
  • Breakfast club from 7.45 – 8.30 @ £2.50 a day – this must be pre-booked when required
 
  • After school club 3 – 4pm @ £5 per day - this must be pre-booked when required
 
  • After school club any time after 4pm and before 6pm – to include a small meal @ £10 per day - this must  be pre-booked when required
