Our Class News This Week: 24th- 28th November
This week, we went on our school trip to the London Archives. The children investigated lots of different documents figuring out where in History the documents were from. They were an absolute credit as they were immaculately well-behaved and polite the whole day. Photos from the day can be found in the newsletter!
We have continued practising our Christmas song 'Witness of Christmas' as well!
Have a lovely week!

Dates for your diary:
Assessment Weeks- w/c 24th November and w/c 1st December
Homework
Each week, children will have homework set which is expected to be completed for Thursday. There will be work which can be completed in the CGP Grammar and Reading Comprehension books children are provided with. Grammar homework will be sent out every week, while Reading comprehension will be sent out every two weeks. Mathematics homework will continue to be set online via Mathletics.
The most important way to support your child at home is through reading. We expect each child to read for a minimum of 10 minutes a day. If you have time, try to read with your child and ask them questions about the story they are reading. This quality, dedicated time set aside to reading has a huge impact on children's learning across the curriculum and helps develop a love of reading which can last a lifetime.
Please sign your child's reading record each day.
