Staying Safe
It is very important that we teach our children to stay safe in a range of different situations.
Work with the police and the NSPCC helps children to learn about stranger danger and personal safety. Annually a visit from the Life Bus helps educate the children on health, medicines and drugs. Pupils in Year 6 visit Hillingdon Fire Station to learn about using public transport safely and safety around the home. Cycle and Pedestrian training keeps our children safe on the roads and a proposed visit to the Safety Alley in Milton Keynes for Year 4 pupils will educate them on water, fire and rail safety too.
E-safety is also taught as a matter of course, in all year groups as part of the Computing Curriculum.
